Texas Water Consortium Turns to Technology in Hopes of Conserving Water

Urban water use in Texas is growing nine times faster than all other uses combined. The University Municipal Water Consortium, which is made up of more than 25 local, state and regional water providers, is seeking new ways to conserve water and chart use homes across Texas. The members have joined together to develop and test promising hardware and software solutions so to ensure that utilities, communities and customers have access to data-driven information and cost-effective innovations.
