Product Overview
The WISY filter connects to a single vertical rainwater downspout and can filter a roof area up to 1,600 square feet for irrigation, car washing, clothes washing or other important but non-potable uses. The downspout filter collector is installed above grade in the vertical rainwater down piping to remove debris to the stormwater system and divert 95% of the clean rainwater to the storage tank. The filter operates as a first flush device.
Installed in vertical metal or plastic downspouts, a WISY filter can provide overflow protection and diversion when the collection tank is full. Housing and filter insert are made of stainless steel. Filter mesh size 0.28 mm (280 microns). Filter insert requires cleaning a few times a year and is dishwasher safe.

Optional equipment: 2″ x 3″ or 3″ x 4″ downspout converter kit, clip and wall plug for mounting, 1″ flexible outlet hose, blind insert for diversion.
NOTES: WISY filter collector must be mounted plumb for proper operation. A 90° elbow or optional 1” flexible hose (with 2” connection) must be installed directly on the 2” outlet to assure proper filtration. A coarse mesh filter is available for areas prone to excessive particulate matter in the air, such as dust or pollen. For a roof area above 1,600 square feet, additional inline downspout filter collectors should be added.
