HYDRONIX 4.5" x 20" Sediment Depth Cartridge (SDC)
50 to 5 Micron Dual Gradient Sediment Filter - 4.5" x 20"
50 micron on the outer layer and 5 micron on the inner layer
These 4.5" diameter SDC Series Cartridges have true multi-stage depth filtration integrated in their design. Utilizing four separate layers of micron filtration, outside-in flow allow the outer layer to trap the larger sized particles, resulting in a much lower pressure drop compared to conventional filters. Trapping various sized particles layer-by-layer, theses SDC Series Cartridges provide a much higher dirt holding capacity than standard spun Polypropylene and string wound cartridges.
These cartridges are made with 100% pure polypropylene and are free of surfactants, detergents and anti-static agents. SDC series filter cartridges do not impart any substances into water which are known to or can cause adverse health effects to humans.
